For as long as I can remember, baking has been my way of bringing people together. What started in my grandmother's kitchen has grown into a business that allows me to be part of so many of life's sweetest celebrations.
Based in South Florida, Babykakes by MJ creates custom treats for customers throughout the area, with shipping available nationwide on many of our sweet creations. We also offer Gluten-Free and Dairy-Free options because everyone deserves something delicious to celebrate.

Hi! I'm Monica Baron, owner of Babykakes by MJ.
My love for baking started long before Babykakes by MJ. As a little girl, I spent countless hours in the kitchen with my grandmother learning to make traditional Jewish family favorites like Mandel Bread, Rugelach, Sponge Cake, Honey Cake, and her famous Sour Cream Coffee Cake.
Those afternoons taught me that baking wasn't just about dessert—it was about bringing family together, creating traditions, and showing love through homemade treats.
As I grew older and started my own family, baking became part of our everyday life. There was almost always a warm tray of brownies or freshly baked cookies waiting when my children and their friends came over. I also loved creating over-the-top desserts for birthdays, school bake sales, holidays, and family celebrations.

Before long, I became the "dessert person" everyone called. Whether it was raspberry bars for a summer barbecue, apple cake for the Jewish holidays, or an Oreo birthday cake, I was always happy to bring dessert.
Eight years ago, I took a leap of faith and turned my lifelong passion into Babykakes by MJ.
What started with a handful of family-favorite recipes has grown into Babykakes by MJ—a business built on creativity, quality, and celebrating life's sweetest moments.
Today, I have the joy of creating personalized treats for birthdays, weddings, holidays, college students, businesses, and so many other special occasions. Every order is handcrafted with attention to detail because I believe the little touches are what make celebrations unforgettable.

No two orders are ever exactly alike, and that's one of the things I love most. Every celebration has its own story, and I enjoy working with each customer to create something that's as unique as the occasion itself.
